PREVIOUS OIPs

Every year, OIP attracts a large number of applications from institutions all over India. Out of these, selected students from different institutes, get an opportunity to do an internship at IIITNR. Some of them are from the State of CG while others are from reputed institutions like IIT’s, NIT's, IIIT's, well-known private universities, etc., of all over India. IIIT-NR is proud to host, guide and provide them exposure to research through its high-quality laboratories, recent advanced technologies, tools and library facilities, in addition to financial support.

The purpose of the OIP is to enable undergraduate students to carry out independent research in their field of interest. Students also get the opportunity to attend special lectures and workshops, which makes their stay a rewarding experience. In their feedback, some interns expressed that at IIIT-NR, they got exposure to the new technologies and hands-on experience on various advanced tools, about which they were not aware and which were not available at their parent institutions.
