About IIIT Nava Raipur
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology – Naya Raipur, established by the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, is a joint venture by Chhattisgarh State Government and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
The Institute is dedicated to excellence in higher education, research and growth in information technology (IT) and related disciplines. It strongly believes in the dissemination of information and the provision of entrepreneurial skills to students to allow them to solve real world problems. In order to enhance this vision, IIIT-NR encourages state-of-the-art research and product development laboratories to conduct interdisciplinary research and product development efforts.
Dr. SPM IIIT-NR's 50-acre residential campus is located in the newly developed smart city of Atal Nagar, approximately 23 km from the town of Raipur. The IIIT-NR 's vibrant, lush green campus features Wi-Fi connectivity, CCTV surveillance, hi-tech security measures and excellent sports and other recreational facilities. The futuristic architecture of the buildings and the serene surroundings of the campus cultivate an atmosphere of creativity and innovation for students.
